3. Google API Services Limited Use Disclosure

Daneel's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: • We only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features of Daneel that are prominent in the Service • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with user notice • We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements • We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have obtained your explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized If you connect your Google account, we request only the minimum OAuth scopes required to provide the feature you enable.

5. Google Account Connection and OAuth Scopes

If you choose to connect your Google account, Daneel will request permission to access specific Google services. Revocation will immediately stop our access to that data.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. In compliance with California Senate Bill 243, the New York AI Companion Law, and similar regulations: • You are interacting with an AI, not a human • Daneel will clearly identify itself as an AI upon request • Daneel is not a licensed medical, legal, mental health, or financial professional • AI-generated responses may be inaccurate and should not be relied on for critical decisions • If you are in crisis, contact appropriate emergency services or a licensed professional For minors (if permitted in your jurisdiction) and vulnerable users, additional safeguards apply in accordance with applicable AI companion laws.

10. Apple Messages for Business

If you interact with Daneel through Apple Messages for Business, Apple's Business Chat policies additionally apply. Messages sent via Apple Messages for Business are processed in accordance with Apple's requirements for business messaging, which include strict limits on how data may be used and shared. We do not combine Apple Messages for Business data with data from other channels for advertising or profiling purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

Daneel is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@daneel.life and we will take steps to delete the information. Where local law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies.

12. International Data Transfers

Daneel operates globally, and your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United States and the European Union.
